Morello Working on Iron Man 2 Score
Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has been announced as one of the contributors for the score for upcoming summer blockbuster Iron Man 2.
While Marvel previously announced that Aussie rockers AC/DC would provide the soundtrack to the movie, news recently broke that Morello has been working with composer John Debney for the film's score.
“…Iron Man kicks my ass. I’m working on score for Iron Man 2. Rockin. Movie is awesome,” the guitarist wrote in a Twitter message.
Unbeknownst to many fans, Morello was also involved in the first installment of the successful super-hero franchise, making a cameo as "Terrorist #87" in the group who kidnap Iron Man alter-ego Tony Stark.
Work on Iron Man is not the first connection to film for the rock musician- Morello has previously performed on the Spider-Man, Talladega Nights and Dodgeball soundtracks.
Iron Man 2 opens in theaters on May 7th.
